Power Point - Embed

Hey. Im doing a project for school in PowerPoint. Anyway, I have custom font on my PC that isn't on the schools. I cant get into there data drive to install the fonts, because its blocked.

So, I need to know how to (if posible) embed fonts, music, and pictures into my powerpoint.

Thanks!

Well, if the font is off DaFont.com, type the text you want int he preview box. Then do a Print Scr Sysrq and crop the image of the font. Then paste it and use the transparent color tool of Power Point. That's the only way that I can think of. You could just ask you're teach if you could put a font on the comp, and do it whether s/he says yes or no.

Well C:\WIDOWS is restricted and you have to put it in the font folder.

They are from Dafont.com, though. I'll try the above idea. Thanks!

Not liking those previous answers... I mean, WWGD? Provide better answers, that's what.

Summary: For fonts, choose "Save As...", then select "Save Options..." from the Tools menu in the save window that opens up. Then choose to embed fonts.

Also check out File > Package for CD.... You can choose to embed fonts, and it'll automatically bring along all linked files. Note quite embedding, but most professors I've met aren't opposed to having people run a presentation off a CD. Or you can run a packaged PowerPoint presentation off a USB key, even.

Hope that helps.

You don't have to save it to the font's folder. Go to control panel, and click the fonts option(if you are using an XP it will be easier if you click view classic view and find fonts from there), then click install new font. Select the the .ttf file in the folder the file's in. Highlight it, and click OK. It should install the font on the comp.

Re: Power Point - Embed

Then you're in crap. Ask the guy who has the admin comp.

I think they let C:\WINDOWS be accessed on the comps in my school. But hey, most of the kids in my class(or school, for that matter) can barely use paint, so they'd have no use with C:\Windows
