Point in clans

What exactly do the clans do? Because I've had some bad experience with online clubs and I don't want anymore

Clan posts don't count toward your post count, so they tend to be more spammy in nature (notice I did not say 'totally") meaning there is games (like Hangman or Truth or Dare) and such.

The community is also smaller in a clan, meaning your more likely to be noticed and appreciated.

There is really nothing "bad" that could happen if you join a clan. You can join a clan, and if you don't like it, don't post in it. There are some members who do just that. There are no obligations.

Due to the lack of rules in clans, people REALLY show what they're truly like with the freedom, people can be more witty, plus Truth or Dare is awesome!

The clans allow you to make friends that are similar to you. Also they have fun competitions between the clan. As the others said you d=have more freedom posting in the clan area. So nothing bad can happen. GO DIN.

The deal is! Below your avatar you have your number of posts. In clan areas all the posts you do don't count. So when you enter a clan you will be able to enter there forum. In their you can post, but the posts will NOt increse your post count. This is because clan posts are quite spammy. I suggest looking the Clan Faq. A sticky in the temple of light and dark forum.

This should answer your question fluently. To get into a clan, you take a test, right? Well that test is a personality test to see what you'd do in different situations. The Clans put you with people that are similar to you in personality. On top of that, each clan is a smaller part of Zelda Universe. The clans compete and play gams amongst themselves. Each one is a small community and network of personalities that fit together.

PS: The Post Count requirement and one month of membership is just to make sure you don't go inactive.

About that PS... its not like people don't want you in. I mean look at the members. Its like 23,000 people. Imagine each clan had 6,000 or so members with like 5,000 inactive or so. Also you could just make a character and come back a month later and go inactive again, hence why theres a post requirement. Its just like a little balance so only people active would be in a clan.

Why would you make a character for a clan? This isn't the BA. :/


Clans are great ways to meet people when your new. Once those people get out and tell people about you, the whole place will know who you are! (Its a good way to be social)

No you can't, you must be here for fifty months and have one post count, Or is it one month and fifty posts

Also clans have their own RPG's.

You guys should read the clan FAQ sticky at the top. But to join a clan you need to be a member at ZU for 1 month and have a post count of 50.
