If you have to create a creature, isn't choosing one that already exists cheating?
As for a planet, I'd choose either Mercury, Venus, or Mars. The others are gas giants that don't have a solid surface, so that rules out most potential aliens right there. Of course, you could have aliens that float in the atmosphere of a gas giant, too. Really, you should just choose a planet, research what it's like, and figure out how an alien could live there. Then you should create your alien.

Well, you'd have trouble if you just tried to take a Zelda creature and put it on a planet in our solar system anyways.
You'd have to adapt and alter them to suit the environment that you're putting them on. So, you may as well create one from scratch, it'll take about the same amount of effort and will probably be much more fun to do. (Plus, it'll probably get you a better mark.)

You could have aliens called the Gerudo on Venus because the Gerudo live in the desert, and the greenhouse gases on Venus make it the hottest planet in our solar system.
