[English] poem
Ok, I am sorry to the mods if I am posting this in the wrong place, but I had no clue where this goes. Anyways, it's a little poem from my English class, American Literature. I want to know if anybody knows what does the poet mean by his poem:
In A Station of the Metro The apparition of these faces in the crowd; Petals on a wet, black bough. This was Written by Ezra Pound in 1913.

Re: [English] poem
Wow, a response after a month!! Well, no, this is it. I have learned that Pound likes to condensed (sp?) his poems... It's only 2 sentences in my book... So far, I just found out that he was in a train, looking outside the window... And this inspired him to write 2 sentences... It's weird, I might be wrong though. Thanks anyways.
