[English] Quote that needs correction and a person.
Alright, so the topic for my culminating essay is "Why read books?". While I do not need help composing the essay, I need to put a name to a specific quote I want to use. The quote goes something like this:
"Science, mathematics; these are things that keep our lives going. But art, music, literature; these are the things that we live for." Again, a name and the actual quote please.

Well, either the exact quote or roughly where you heard it from are really going to be needed, I'm afraid, since google and wikiquote turn up nothing even remotely similar.

I saw that movie today at school. The ending is bitter-sweet.

Ah, Dead Poets Society?
Well, then, here's the original quote: "...medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for." ~ John Keating (Robin Williams) Full quote here: Dead Poets Society - Wikiquote
