取りあえず、出来るだけ早く覚えて、ペラペラ話せるようになりたい↑
やから、今年の③月から留学生として日本に来たんだ↑　来年の③月にゎオーストラリア帰るわ・・・帰りたく ないのに・・・↓

Basically this thread is for those learning or who can already speak Japanese. I thought it would be interesting, so hopefully there are people out there on ZU!

I would say for natively English (Or European) language speakers, yes. Mainly because of the huge difference in grammar patterns and alphabet that shares no similarities at all. For me Japanese isn't something that's a chore to learn, I thoroughly enjoy it and find I can learn it without the need of formal text book study methods, but it depends on the individual I guess. Right now I am studying abroad in Japan and I am learning new things literally every day.

読んだ前に誰がこのトピックを作ったかというと知らなかった。Subpainは誰かなぁーと思っていて、あ のSN聞いたことなかった。で、読みながら「なんかこの人の書き方は何かカスパーっぽくない？」と思った。 だって、関西弁や若者の言葉が使いさせすぎたじゃん。そんでやっぱり終わりに「Formerl y known as Eijiro」が書いてあった。カスパー以外誰もそう書くね。（＾＾）

JLPTはもうすぐだね。Kasは二級受けんの？俺は日本から帰ってきてから全然勉強しなくて、とりあえず 今年は三級だね。

Very cool. Two things.

1) Could one of you write Eternal Paradox in Japanese for me?

2) Anyone mind posting some beginer stuff for those of us interested, but never looked into it?

I think this might be right, people who know more please correct if its wrong

Not to nitpick because I understand what you meant, but there is another "u" in Daijoubu. Forgetting that extra character can sometimes drastically change the meaning of the word.

squall24, nice translation with the name. It is technically correct but it sounds strange. Then again, 'eternal paradox' is a bit of a strange name.

I hate to be nitpicky, but I guess that's what this thread is for. It's Ohayo, not Hayo. And Goazaimasu, not Gozaima****a (Which is past tense). Also, you don't apply name suffixes (san, chan, kun, sama, dono (No one uses this anyway...), whatever) to your own name, unless you want to come across as completely narcissistic and self-loving. It's basically like calling yourself Sir Timothy. People just don't do it at all... I've heard some people call themselves Oresama, but only ever as a joke.

はじめまして (Hajimema shi te) is only used when meeting someone for the first time. It's basically like saying "Nice to meet you". It's not a substitute for こんにちは.
