Here, I know something about the carbon cycle, let me see if I can help.
1: Dictionaries work wonders. 2: Photosynthesis and cellular respiration essentially do the opposite of each other. Photosynthesis turns water and carbon dioxide into glucose and oxygen. Cellular respiration in turn makes glucose and oxygen into carbon dioxide and water. Plants make the glucose and oxygen that animals need, and then animals make the carbon dioxide that plants need. Hence, they're complimentary. Cellular respiration is basically the process that goes on inside most creatures cells (including your own) in order to get energy out of food. You need glucose and oxygen to perform cellular respiration. 3: Decomposers are important because they convert dead organisms into carbon dioxide and raw nutrients. Then, the carbon can go back into the cycle. Otherwise a great deal of the carbon in the carbon cycle would be lost. Anyway, if you have any other questions, you can refer to an encyclopedia.
