AP Human geography- Studying

We are having our first unit test in my class for college credit tomorrow. Does anybody know any REALLY good study tips? Just to let you know, I prefer to learn by doing.

Can you be more specific about what you are studying?

And for people (such as myself) whose country has a different education system, can you say exactly what level of schooling you're at? (does 'college credit' mean you will start college soon, or have started it already?)

The way i remember it, an AP class only counts towards college if you pass the AP exam at the end of the year, otherwise you just get high school credit for the class. What helped me in my AP class was to read the chapter and write notes by hand. Then I would type up my hand written notes on the computer. By than you should have a good grasp on what you're learning. If there are practice tests available try them.
