Re: what do i like doing? [french]
Short answer: They're wrong.
Long answer: These are the corrected sentences: J'aime jouer à l'ordinateur. J'aime regarder le magnétoscope. And J'aime faire la cuisine. The Verbe Aimer is never conugated to aim. After taking of the ending, you add an e for Je, es for tu, e for Il/elle/on, ons for nous, ez for vous, and ent for ils/elles. This applies to all -ER (1er groupe) verbes with some exceptions (ex aller) Immediately after 'aime', you want to leave you verbs in infinitive, which you did for préparer, but not for jouer and regarder. when a word beginning in a vowel comes before 'Le' or 'La', you drop the a from la and use an apostrophe, so 'L'ordinateur' is correct. Also, if it weren't for the apostrophe, you would write le ordinateur, because ordinateur is a masculine noun. Magnétoscope is mascumine, so it's "le magnétoscope". Aside from that, I think that you might want to say "la télévision" or "les vidéos". Unless you enjoy watching VCRs. "préparer les repas" is grammatically correct, but you might prefer to say that you like to cook rather than you like to 'prepare meals'. |
