Sebalius II
Ok, In my music class we have to compose songs. I, being a huge Chinese music fan, want to compose the song in a pentatonic scale. Im not sure if te computer composition program Sebalius is common in schools around the contry, but do any of you know how to fix it so the scales are pentatonic?

Re: Sebalius II
It's Sibelius by the way. o-o And yes, stay within the pentatonic scale and use the harmonic minor. Also, keep the fifth of the scale out. That should make it should Asian. It's kinda like playing all black keys on a piano.

Just use the intervals listed on this site. Root - 2 - 3 - 5 - 6 There are no settings in Sibelius to do this, you just center the music around those notes.
