Re: Chemistry Help
I'm not sure about a Penza Table, but to count atoms with subscripts i easy. Say you have C with a subscript of 2. All that means is two Carbon atoms in the forumula. If you have Mg with 10, then that's ten Magnesium atoms in the forumula.

Re: Chemistry Help
if you really want to get into the atom thing then you use this table: 1s, 2s, 2p, 3s, 3p, 4s, 3d, 4p, 5s, 4d, 5p, 6s, 4f, 5d, 6p, 7s, 5f, 6d, 7p, 8s. s- sublevel holds 2 electrons (1 orbit), p- sublevel holds 6 electrons (3 orbits), d- sublevel holds 10 electrons (5 orbits), f- sublevel holds 14 (7 orbits). if u need any explaination of what i just said im me.

Re: Chemistry Help
Look i came first in my year and ill help as much as i can k
Well first I never heard of a panza table (sounds like a tank table) Figuring out how many electrons is in tht atom in the cloud is the first matter of order. First you must know that the 1st electron cloud contains 2 electrons then the 2nd has 8 the same as 3rd (and im guessing your not going past the 3rd) then you should be able to figure it out from there. eg:Hydrogen (H) has 1 electron cloud and 1 electron in tht cloud and the rest really explains itself. Also just remeber tht the atomic No. is the amount of proton in tht atom Hope tht helps. ![]() |
