[German]Anyone help me on some translating?

OKey, first of all I know I should do it myself and such, but the thing is, I can't! I don't know anytihng German, ant using the dictionary would take forever.

Anyway, I have to deliver an essay tomorrow. It didn't have to be long since I suck so much, and we have been doing this for many weeks.
For reasons that doesn't really matter, I haven't gotten to start really before today.

I could use Bablefish to translate, but I don't think the teacher would like that, she did allow us to get help from German people, but not to use translators.

Anyway, IF YOU WANT TO HELP, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TRANSLATE IT ALL, JUST A LITTLE POINT WOULD HELP ME ALOT

Frankfurt:

Frankfurt is known for it’s economy. It has the largest stock exchange in germany. It is Germany’s financial capital.

One of 3 European cities that have a lot of skyscrapers. 9 taller then 150 meters. Second biggest in Europe, ahead of London, but behind Paris. Have largest skyscraper in the world, the “Commerzbank”.

Has the second or third busiest airport in Europe, depending on sources.

Has many institutions. And has a museum street along the Main river. Most known museums: Städelsches Kunstinstitut and Städtische Galerie.

History

Roman settlements were established around the first century, with some artefacts remaining.

The name “Frankfurt am Main” came from Franconofurt, by the Franks-tribe.

In the roman empire, Frankfurt was one of the most important cities. Since 885 German kings were made kings in Frankfurt, first one was Lothar II. This was also done from 1562-1792.

The Frankfurter Messe was first mentioned in 1150. The Frankfurter Buchmesse is still the most important in Germany, and some say the world.

In 1372 Frankfurt became a Reichsstadt. Meaning it was ruled by the king, and not by a smaller emperor.

Was neutral during the 30-year war, but suffered from the plague brought to the city.

In Napoleonic wars Frankfurt was occupied lots of times by the French.

Frankfurt lost its independence in 1866. The Austro-Prussian War was over, and Prussia annexed several smaller states, among them the city of Frankfurt.

In 1914, the University of Frankfurt, later called Johann Wolfgang Goethe University was founded. It is now one of Germany’s biggest.

During the Nazi period, the synagogues of Frankfurt was destroyed, and it was bombed in world war II, but it got built up again quickly.

Anything there, ANYTHING would help me alot!

Thanks for reading
