Literature on spiders...?
An odd request which I don't expect to get any response, but does anybody know of any good writings on spiders which deal more with "personality" characteristics as opposed to facts? Things giving them attitude, dissecting their instinct, personifying their traits, dramatically portraying their daily lifestyle, praising them as supreme beings, etc.

Re: Literature on spiders...?
this is the only thing I can think of on the top of my head, and while it uses a spider metaphore, it really isn't about spiders at all... I hope that doesn't harm anything...

Re: Literature on spiders...?
Heh, well what I was doing (or trying to do) is create a weird character for an even weirder story. Since it's in progress I can't really give any accurate or useful details, but obviously you could guess one of them was going to be based around a spider. I've read a bit about spiders from a scientific standpoint, but I figured there had to be some sappy goth somewhere who wrote an epic poem about them and how genius and divine their design and nature was... or something
I realize that spiders as they are now don't have these traits I want, but that's the gap I'm trying to bridge for this to work.Anyway, thanks for the responses, and yes google was the starting point so figure I got pretty desperate to ask at a Zelda forum ![]()
