Is my Computer Screen nearly dead?
Hey guys, I hope you can help me out with this. When I have a resolution of 800*600 and a refreshrate above 70Hz or when I take a higher resolution than 800*600 at any refreshrate my screen acts weird. It's like an earthquake, the words get blurred and the whole screen just starts shaking. It's all still readable, but the screen just 'flickers'. My monitor should be capable of frequenties up to 100 Hz and resolutions up to 1600*1200 without any problem, it started last week. I've tried several drivers and even reinstalled windows (not because of this problem). magnetic fields or disturbance from any other appliance isn't the problem...so it's either my monitor or my Gfxcard (Ati Radeon 9800Pro)
So, is there a doctor in the room? ![]() |

Re: Is my Computer Screen nearly dead?
Well, despite the fact that this thread is a month old, i would say that: "Yes". it might be getting REALLY old. When did you get this computer? Its "life power" may be running out.
