If You Could "Fix" Cartoon Network

Deter's Lab was really good. I'd run Samurai Jack reruns. That show introduced me to genre fusing, and that's something I love.

My answer: Because they need their own network. Turner owns a bunch of stations. Just convert one of the shttier ones to the Adult Swim station. I mean, seriously, **** Turner Classic Movies. Does anyone under the age of 70 ever watch that channel? Replace TCM with AS.

3.) Bring back Toonami with NEW animus, and also, make Toonami a regular 'show'. What I mean by this is that they should actually get writers and artists to make a Toonami show which takes place in between each showing of a normal show. So, if we have, say, a 2.5 hour block for Toonami, it would run something like this:

10 minutes: Toonami show part 1
30 minutes: show 1
30 minutes: show 2
10 minutes: Toonami show part 2
30 minutes: show 3
30 minutes: show 4
10 minutes: Toonami show part 3

Yes! Remember those Events Toonami used to have. Those were awesome.

Also, bring back TOM and SARA.

4.) Commission Pendleton Ward to do an Adventure Time cartoon.

Never heard of him.

5.) Commission Genndy Tartakovsky to do a whole new show. (Creator of Samurai Jack, Powerpuff Girls, Dexters Lab, and a few more...)

Yes! A thousand times Yes! This man is a genius. He is actually working on a new show for CN called, Sym-Bionic Titan. Sounds awesome, and the art looks amazing.

I'd also have him do a new Samurai Jack movie.

7.) Bring back The Cartoon Cartoon Show. For anyone who doesn't remember The Cartoon Cartoon Show was a show which showcased short pilots for cartoons.

Yup, CN used to be real friendly towards it's animators. Not so much anymore.

11.) Dedicate 5 hours a day to Gen Y retro toons. (Dexter, Powerpuff Girls, Courage, etc...)

12.) Dedicate 3 hours a day to Ye Olde retro cartoons. (Tom & Jerry, Scooby Doo, etc...)

Retro Sundays.

16.) Have an All-Stars show. This doesn't need much plot, so writing it shouldn't be difficult, but basically, each episode would have 3 or 4 one on one fights between different characters from different cartoon network shows. An easy and interesting way to eat up a time slot.

I don't really like the idea of having characters fight each other in one on one fights. Crossover movies with CN original shows would be cool.

17.) Ask Disney/Marvel and DC to each do a new show, or shows.

18.) So long as Disney is in the boat, try to get PIXAR to do a series.

Disney has their own channels. They would never partner up with CN.

The only shows I found remotely interesting on Adult swim was Lupin the 3rd and maybe Inuyasha for the storyline and characters. The rest to me was just...unnerving, haha Aqua teen and space ghost were pretty funny though. Even if they weren't very christian friendly xD

Yes folks, I actually watch a show for the STORY, not the blood and guts or constant cussing or all that other stuff...though I hardly watched any showes like that.

I'd bring back Secret Saterdays, it was like a post modern version of Jhoney quest. (thats QUEST not test) I would kick the live shows still, but maybe come up with a few good movies again. Oh and the stuff like Voltron and Thundercats, maybe Astro Boy and Speed Racer too. DBZ maybe, or just a new show with better characters and less idiotic/cocky villains.

I'd also bring back tonomi as a show, I mean the characters T.O.M. and S.A.R.A had so much potential for like, an actual story it's not even funny. Also bring back stuff like Gundam and Megas XLR that stuff rocked!

I'd bring back some of the older shows. Gotten too boring!

Just ****ing bring back the rugrats and don't tell anyone its reruns. Everyone likes the rugrats

There has certainly been a lot of "I'll bring back blank and blank", but... it there anything else? Some may of been mentioned, but I don't feel like going through 4.X (thanks for all the pages by the way) pages.

First I'd scrap CN.

Then I'd create a new channel, made up of all the good cartoons from the 1990s:

- Ed, Edd, and Eddy
- Courage the Cowardly Dog
- Powerpuff Girls
- Dexters Lab
- Samurai Jack

Just to name a few.
And since you can do 'whatever you want with CN', I'd bring in some other shows from different channels. All from 1990s or earlier of course, all these new ones are sad.
