Anyone like this show?

It's an adaption of the Sookie Stackhouse book series, but many major plot points are changed. It takes place in Bon Temps, a fictional town in Louisiana, and is about a telepathic waitress named Sookie and her vampire lover Bill Compton.

I'm a huge fan of the show and I'm looking forward to the resolution of the current season. Anyone else seen the show?

I saw the first season. I can't say I liked it. It was like... an R rated red neck twist on Buffy. Only with bad writing. :/

I really wanted to like it though. Anna is my girl.

I wonder what you'd think of the second season. People keep saying the Maryann character is annoying, but I think it's interesting.

Idk my ex keeps telling me I'd love season two. But I'm too busy trying to finish Six Feet Under, which is vastly better... From what I've seen.

Idk. Season one went downhill the moment theykilled off the grandmother. I was like - Ugggh.. she was the only one I liked!

But oh well. Maybe one day I'll give season two a chance.

I've been watching True Blood since the first episode debuted. The only reason I continue to watch it is because I know that the books get epic at a certain point, and from where I'm at in Season 2, I believe it's going to start getting amazing.

Also, Lafayette is the best character ever. He needs his own TV show.
