How sweet, except the
entire concept of the show makes a big deal about size. How can a show called "More to Love"
not scream, "Look at us! We can fall in love just like skinny people!"? I haven't seen the show and don't plan on it, but I've seen enough "reality" tv to guess its formula.
If you can find one episode where there are no dramatic "feel sorry for me because I'm fat" moments, or one interview where the contestants aren't asked how it feels to be overweight etc etc, let me know and maybe I'll check it out. I'll save you some time and let you know right now that you won't find either.
I also read the Live Feed article at the bottom of the Wikipedia page. This article states that "More to Love"
is for "average-looking people" and is a "dating show for the rest of us". That's insulting. I am at the recommended weight for my height, but, despite not being a model, I don't relate to the girls on "More to Love" at all. People are not one extreme or the other. It's not just "model-esque" or "overweight". People come in all different shapes and sizes, so stop trying to categorize us.
