House Discussion Thread

Fantastic, totally I dislike hospital dramas because from some point it all becomes repeating itself. But house is an exception. The script is wonderful and powerful both for the patients and the personal life of the staff. The characters are well developed and the actors are more talented.
Hugh Laurie is an exceptional actor I can't imagine any other man to play Dr. House. His mimics, his voice, I don't think if some else plays this role; it won't be do the effect on viewers.

While I personally prefer ER, House is definatly a great show.

I think it's pretty funny that these new advertising bot/people/whatever make better quality threads than some actual people, and in the spirit of that I'm going to keep this thread alive in order to discuss the actual show in question.

They're not so bad when you remove the advertising from their signatures :3

I like contingency and ongoing storylines, and this two-parter House is what I would like to see more of. All the time. A serial, just like ]The Shield and such.
Despite being episodic and case by individual case, I think there's a good bit of continuity on "House." You really have to pay attention to previous episodes to understand the different relationships. It's good that " House" is so episodic because this way it's easy for new viewers to get into it, each episode can stand alone. Watching all the episodes just makes it amazing.

I LOVE HOUSE

House gets a patient with some rare disease, guesses it is one, fails, guesses it again, fails, then solves it. Then you throw in random problem with his mental health / Vicodin / Cuddy / his leg / Foreman / angry/happy person / etc every now and then.

Yeah, definitely not repetitive. But still good.
