Stephen Colbert is in Iraq!

This week Stephen Colbert is doing his show (The Colbert Report) in Iraq for the soldiers! He's been hinting about going to the Persian Gulf for months now, but I didn't expect him to actually go to Iraq. :3

He's wearing a suit made from the same material the troops wear and he shaved his head in support of the troops.

I like this, I like this a lot, nice to know some people don't hate us active duty military.

I have all the respect in the world for our troops, I just hate the politicians that send them there.

As with Lincoln Osiris, I have nothing but respect for the troops (Aside from those who unnecessarily abuse civilians). I just hate the politicians who send them to Iraq. It's not like they have a choice in the matter.

As for the thread topic, it's nice to see Stephen Colbert supporting the troops this way. Hopefully he'll be able to amuse them, since where they are there probably is very little to be amused about.

They're different types of shows, Colbert is satire, the Daily Show just makes fun of the news channels and calls politicians on their bull****.

I think that if John Stewart wore a clown suit the show would feel the same.

They are both funny shows. Now let's talk about Colbert being a funny man in Iraq?

Colbert's basic training was hilarious, imo.
