Prison Break ending, you like?

By the way, SPOILERS. Don't read past this point if you don't want them.

Anyways, I liked most of the ending of the show. Where Christina, General Krantz, and Bagwell got what they deserved. And that everyone was happy and got what they wanted.

BUT

It was hinted that Michael was getting the brain tumor again when he was at the beach and I believe his nose was bleeding, and then Sara wiped it off for him. The fact that he died, it made sense with the bleeding, but it makes me just a little angry. I really hoped everyone would get what they wanted/deserved. But then, Michael had to die. I just have this feeling in my stomach, they shouldn't have done this and now........

Well what's done is done. Anyone OK with Michael dying?

Note: Lol, it says he died in 2005.

Re: Prison Break ending, you like?

The show progressively got worse after season one but I loved the way they ended it. It was kind of obvious that the company wasn't really going to save Michael until he joined him, why would they it makes no logical sense.

As for the other characters the saddest ending would be for Self. He spent all that time just trying to get a quiet life for himself and his wife who was in a vegetative state and he himself ended up in a vegetative state and lost everything, he definitely grew on me in the one short season he was a part of.

Everyone else pretty much got what the had coming.

Yeah, that fits into the timeline as the entire show spans less than a year and it started in 2005.

And yes, the stone said 2005. Why? Current day is 2009, which is "four years later".

The show ended. How could there be 2 more episodes?

Even though I saw rumors about that, I still don't believe it. But if you are right, then these episodes would probably give detail on what happened to Michael. I'll wait and see if this happens...

they are not rumours.

they do tell what happened before the 4yearslater, as I said in my previous post.

these two episodes are going straight to dvd. they'll air only on SKY1 in the UK on the 27th.

Re: Prison Break ending, you like?

a bit sad face.
but it gave the series closure. michael paying the ultimate price to get everyone free. lincoln was the one who got him through college, through whatever means for him to have a better life, and now michael has done the same.

it had to end at some point.

Re: Prison Break ending, you like?

The end is kind of weak. And Michael's death is the weakest point ever! How can he still have the brain tumor? I thought the company already did the operation on him and also his Mom Christine, look how long have Christine lived! If the company hasn't done the operation, why the general wanted to kill Michael so bad?
And for T-bag, he should be hanged but not through back to prison. That's too mercy for a killer like him.
So I guess the show just tells us again "good guys won't have a long life while bad ones always live for ever"

Re: Prison Break ending, you like?

The actual finale of the show, called "The Final Break", which aired this Wednesday on Sky1, was actually pretty good. It had a very season-1-ish feeling to it, they prepared a lot here and at first it felt like the opening of a fifth and final season. They definitely could have get like 10 episodes out of that concept, but this two-hour episode was better than nothing. That it felt so rich, has a pretty good reason actually, the finale was based on their spin-off idea "Prison Break: Cherry Hill", which was supposed to feature a women's penitentiary, but which was of course turned down. So, using this idea for Sara and Gretchen was quite smart, some of the new characters like "Daddy" were pretty cool and seeing T-Bag and General together in the other half of the Miami Dade Penitentiary was pretty funny.

I enjoyed this finale a lot, because it makes good for the fact, that the whole fourth season didn't have anything to do with the title of the show. So, getting a final prison break was nice. However, they failed to surprise you. The season 4 finale totally spoiled you, you already knew, that Michael would die during the breakout, you already knew that Sara and her baby would be fine at the end and you already knew, that Mahone probably wouldn't betray his friends. And because there wasn't much time left, there couldn't go anything wrong, so anything that looked like it was going wrong, of course went according to the plan. The only surprise was, that T-Bag was imprisoned at the Miami Dade prison at first, because the season 4 finale showed him back in Fox River. However, that's where he probably ends up at the end of "The Final Break".

But alltogether was "The Final Break" the perfect finale for the show.
