The thread starting post does not have too many words, but then again, I likely do not need much to explain this thread is here for discussion about Captain Planet.

I have a lot to say but I can't get it all out off the top of my mind.

His show is comedic gold. While many other superheroes are of fighting villains such as Apocalypse, Lex Luther and The Joker, Captain Planet fights against the "Eco-Villains" a group of people whom only want to pollute for the sole purpose of polluting. This show created for pollution awareness soon turned into an obvious propaganda show.

Captain Planet as a character is also amazing, he uses the worst puns one could ever imagine. If there's a forest fire and the smoke is polluting the air what does CP do? I'll tell you what he does, he flies over uses his water power and says "Looks like you need to stop... SMOKING!" Everybody says Aquaman is a funny superhero because he was pointless, well yeah he is pointless but his show isn't as ridiculous and his character isn't as hokey.

Ma-Ti. Everybody hates Ma-Ti. His power is a walkie-talkie in disguise. Whenever there's a problem he just calls the other Planeteers to help him out. "Here Ma-Ti, whenever there's a problem blow this whistle and the rest of us will come and save you."
