The only Fox Drama I will watch.
I think it's one of the best shows on sucky tv today.
About a genius/witty Docter.
I love the show.
Who else here watches house?

Re: :House:

It's ok. It's novelty wore off after the first season, where it just got really formulaic and procedural. The only reason it didn't call into serious obscurity is because Hugh Laurie plays the title character so brilliantly.

I will say that the beginning of this last season was solid, seeing as how they mixed things up a little bit and had the whole Survivor-esque competition amongst all those doctor-folk. That was some seriously entertaining stuff, but once that ended I stopped paying attention again, until the last few episodes, where I got super-confused as to
Spoiler (Highlight to read):
why they expected the audience to feel sad that a character they had hitherto been conditioned to hate was dying.

Re: :House:

I actually got into House much later than it started. It was recommended by a friend. I like it. His attitude and outlook on things are entertaining and amusing respectively. And I like him from a distance. His colleagues are interesting too. Ashame that they all quit... good to know that they each make reappearances afterwards. As for the latest season: It just seems so supernatural. Maybe that's not the word I'm looking for, but I definitely liked the first episodes a lot more.

Re: :House:

It's a great show, especially compared to some of the other things on TV at the moment. Recently it hasn't been great; the stories don't seem to be as interesting and exciting as they were in the first season. It does seem to be declining a bit but despite that it's still a good, solid, entertaining show. I have to say it seems to be held together by Hugh Laurie; if he wasn't in it I don't think many people would watch it. Some of his quotes are downright hilarious.

I didn't feel any hate towards him, but maybe that's just me...

This seems like a good time to bring up my profile pic.

I'm not referring to a him, so I don't think we're talking about the same person. I'm referring to the woman who dies at the end of the season, Wilson's girlfriend and the former candidate to work with House.

Re: :House:

Ah, House. Good god I love it.

I kind of disagree with Galedeep, I thought the whole first season was very formulaic and they started to shake it up in the second and third. It's novelty increased for me

Maybe I'm boring and I just get used to things, but I sort of lost a bit of interest in the series when the original team left. I like all of the new guys, I just lost the will to get offline and watch it. I only caught half of the finale, too.

Re: :House:

I didn't really start watching it until just this season, where I made sure to watch every episode up until it went on hiatus because of the writer's strike. After that, I didn't watch any of it until the season finale. >> It was sad, though. Especially when House started crying. ._.

I felt sorry for Wilson more then anything. Was sad when she died, but I think it was more about wilson then anything else.

Re: :House:

I am a huge fan of House and i appreciate that the writers have to come up with a new topic every week however I do think that the show will probably end fairly soon because they might begin to run out of ideas, the show follows the basic structure each week of: patient is dying of a rare disease, doctors have no clue how to cure patient only House knows but hesitates to reveal the info on how to cure patient, interns run around without sleep looking for cures in every possible way and house sends them on small missions without relevance to the particular patient or the disease as a detour, and finally once they determine the disease it is obvious that it was simple enough to detect and the disease is usually a defect from someones diet or family heritage or something random. As much as i am a huge fan and i love hugh laurie and the rest of the cast i am hoping that soon the ideas will come back because they seem to follow that same particular flow every single episode. My apologies for probably sounding cynical, I don't dislike the show in the least its actually my favorite but I guess because it is TV they have to embellish on things quite a bit. I do love how House is extremely sarcastic, rude and no one wants to work with him, however they have to anyways. I do find Wilson quite amusing as well, although i have not watched the season finale yet ( i have been meaning to watch it, not enough time in a day) i am looking foward to the ending and i do hope it comes back for a few other seasons because it is an entertaining show and House's sarcasm is never ending.

I started watching House after watching Scrubs for a long while. I like Scrubs better, since there's more comedy.

House relies more on suspense, I believe. All the patients have life threatening diseases, and they will all flatline at least once an episode, where one of the docs will have to revive them.

It's an ok show, but Scrubs is better in my opinion.

Re: :House:

I love House - that is, the show, and the character. In all my days, I have never seen such an original character as Dr. Gregory House. It's just epic win.

Why would you compare the two? One is comedy and the other is a drama. Only similarity is that is a medical show. I like them both, personally.

Anyways, I love House and recently became obsessed after my sister's boyfriend bought the second season. Now I have watched the first two seasons and my mom, sister and me love the show.

Does anyone else ever feel sorry for House?

Hugh Laurie has an amazing American accent for a British actor
