Yeah, Rugrats was awesome before they made that show. I watched some of it, it was kind of neat to see how they turned out, but... it got old real quick. No imagination at all.

The need to be "grown up" sure seems to be their mission. Kids need to stay kids. Sheesh.

Re: WTF: Disney

It's all the fault of Lizzy McGuire! Hannah Montana is practically the spiritual sequel to it (it's Lizzy McGuire but famous), The Suite Life (Lizzie Mcguire in a hotel), Wizards of Waverly Place (Lizzie McGuire with magic), That's so Raven (Lizzie McGuire with psychics) etcetera.

I generally separate "Disney" and "Disney Channel Original" and think of them as separate companies. The Disney people who are making the real film movies are still going strong, and have produced nothing but excellent movies for nigh on 90 years. Anything with "Disney Channel Original" written on it is probably bad, though, unless it's Kim Possible. <_<

Re: WTF: Disney

Disney i find is similar to EA. Because they both want one thing money and not what the fans have to say. They buy out small companies.

DAHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Cody!!!!! I was editing my post! I went to post it and you screwed it up! I had a huge sentence!!!!!!!!!!! *grumbles*

Stop deleting things....... dah....

Anyways, I was TRYING to say: (sum-up) Remember these movies?: Halloween Town, Thirteenth Year? I think those opened the door to a bunch of movies that then opened the door to TV shows like them. Ugh....

Although, Even Stevens was a good TV show.

Well, whoever deleted mine and Tikicobra's posts deleted some topic. Oh well...

Anyways, Buzz and I have decided a long time ago we aren't going to have cable in the house. We'll have movies and stuff like that, but TV is just getting worse and worse, not to mention dirty.

Re: WTF: Disney

I'd like to argue that That's So Raven! was a great and thoughtful show. But I will admit, Disney Channel is going down the drain. I won't say that Disney itself is, because it manages to be decent most of the time, but most of the Disney Channel shows are just plain awful.

That's the right decision. If your kids grow up watching the crap that's on today then they'll grow up to have no standards when it comes to television.

Yeah, plus I don't like the fact that TV shows think they know whats best for my children to watch. I don't think so...

Re: WTF: Disney

I did like Disney Channel's So Weird. Or what I can remember of it. Was sorta like a X-Files for kids.

They cancled it though... and I wouldnt have a clue where to find the episodes.

I is sad

Re: WTF: Disney

I remember So Weird!

Whatever happened to the Goosebumps episodes? Didn't Disney show those too?

Re: WTF: Disney

I think that was Fox... or WB did the Goosebumps. I know Cartoon Network showed the episodes for awhile. Always enjoyed the Goosebumps series. Always found the ends amusing.
