Thumbs up Avatar: The Last Airbender!

A nickalodian show I know, but who cares! It's an american made anime for crying out loud! I love this show cause it's different than the other nick shows. And come on, think of all the killer stuff you could do with bending skills like that! Er that's what this topic is for btw. Let's talk about what you would want to do if you could do it
Waterbending: Obviously it controlls water, but you can also heal wounds too.
Earthbending: You can manipulate the element of stone here.
Firebending: Deadly and dangerous, manipulate fire.
Airbending: Well another obvious one.

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender!

Well if you were an earthbender you wouldnt need to see at all, look at toph shes blind as a bat but can see better then me or you

I am really in the mix between Earth and Water. So I say, screw it if the Avatar can learn all four why can't I? I mean as far as I know in theory anyone could learn to bend the elements. If you notice most Fire Nation soldiers, the one's in the white skull masks all can fire bend. So my guess that its something anyone could learn.

If so I would practice a bit of all of them, but focus mainly on Earth/Water. You could do some serious damage with either of them. When im landlocked, I could use my awsome abilities to transform the earth around me. With Water I could go to the ocean and have all sorts of fun. Of course for fun, and if I were strong enough, I would go to my lake and divide it, walk across, then let it go.

Air would mostly be used to get around, I mean have you seen Aang? Would be amazing to do.

Fire, well honestly I do not have a whole lot planned for fire.

Yeah, you wouldn't want to get Katara pissed ether!(A waterbending girl in the show, with a SHORT fuse.) Seriously guys, give it a chance and check it out for like more than five seconds. I like both earthbendeng and waterbending.
With Earthbending you can "magnitize" yourself and ether make stone armor or walk on walls (well, you know if it's made of stone.) and you can use it for transportation. And with waterbending you can freeze stuff (even lava) heal people and other things like that. Earthbending may seem destructive but you can also raise huge walls and such. Well you guys are obviously better off checked
The kind of stuff that a high-level bender (despite what element it is) is nearly god-like. Although the "Avatar" you would have all four, you're also charged with defending the world. To be completely honest, a high-level bender can be as destructive or constuctive as they want to depending on your stand-point. It's awesome! Now you wouldn't catch me running around in tights like some superhero, but I'd help out when I felt like it

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender!

If I could, I would probably learn all four. If I have to choose, I would choose fire. It is my favorite element. You could always see in the dark. Cutting through weeds and things would be easy. Not to mention it would make cutting the grass a lot less of a pain in the ass.

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender!

torn between earth and water.

water, you could make awesome shapes, forms, and all kinds of other things with, AND control ice. ICE!

Icicle spear, SLICE!

but then theres earth, which has near unlimied possibilities.

you could make armor, weapons, earthquakes, etc. and the whole toph seeing with earthbending would come in handy too.

i love water, so i guess i'll go with that.

as a side-note, my cousin is ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED WITH AVATAR!

I love Avatar. I'd be an Air bender. I don't really car for offense. In truth I'd love just, flying away from problems.

what are you talking about? Katara doesn't have a short fuse.Just that she really doesn't go easy when that fuse goes off.

Actually there are a few things that can set her off. It doesn't happen much. Like the first episode, check that one out. Of course, I'm not sure familly quarals dont count? She just seems to have more resolve than the rest of them. Especially when compared to that Toph. (Er...not sure if that's spelled right) Well didn't mean to give that impression though. Haha, at least she's nicer than Azula. Two words lady "anger management" (to azula from zfan. ) If you compare the three, she's the nicest. Hmm..if only she were older. (JK)
Haha, wasn't expecting so many responses. I would try to learn all four too, I mean check out that intro! I love the show, but I haven't seen it in so long I got lost. Hmm..think I'll google it. Maybe rent the box sets or something. Even if Katara's fuse isn't that short, I wouldn't want to be in her way when it went off!

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender!

her fuse is not that short, its just that you dont want to cross her when you do. She does go off a few times, the first episode(which provides a great foreshadow of how powerful she will become) the episode with the Water Bending Scroll, she gets upset when Aang seems to have a better control over his water bending talent.

other then that she doesnt have that short of fuse... well there was that whole Jet thing, but I don't blame her.

*sighs* I am really going to miss this show

Yeah, I guess so. I mean each book has like what two seasons? They haven't done air yet so they got a ways to go. And dude you must be a telepath or something, I've seen those two episodes! It's great that everyone likes this show, I thought I was one of the few remaining survivors. Um..and yeah, I'd be pissed about a guy like jet too. Especially if I was crushing on him! (Did you notice it?)

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender!

That you were crushing on Jet? Um... no? but if you meant Katara crushing on Jet then it was kinda obvious. In fact I think you would have to be braindead to miss it, in which case its not really your fault to begin with.

Well the reasons I mention those was because I had recently seen them within the past week or so.

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender!

I hate Avatar, but Sokka makes me laugh, so I've watched some episodes anyway. I'd bend fire. Yeah, I have a thing for fire. It's warm, bright, and great for roasting marshmallows!

I wouldn't be the bad guy like the Fire Nation is, though. XD
