The Worst TV Shows

I made a thread like this a while ago, but it's been dead for months, so I figured I'd make a new one. But I digress.

Everyone has TV shows that you just HATE. Shows that make you want to smash your TV with a sledgehammer.

My worst TV shows are shows on Disney Channel, like Hannah Montana, That's so Raven, and all those steaming piles of fecal matter. I also despise all the new disgraceful excuses for shows they have on Cartoon Network, like Foster's and My Gym Partner's a Monkey. I want Looney Toons, dammit, not this crap!

Anyways, what do you guys think are the worst shows?

Note: Baby shows like Dora the Explorer don't count, as they were made for babies (Who would have guessed? ), and you're not supposed to like them.

Hannah Montana, I hate it with all of my heart.
And another one is Power Rangers, they are just milking it now, it was good when I was 5, but not it's dead, and all of the new series they bring out every month with a randon name, like Ninja Power Storm Tiger Fighter Destruction Team. I mean, wtf?

All the crap on disney channel, new crap on CN, all the soap operas, Everything on Lifetime, WB, and nickelodeon. These shows make me want to go use a nailgun on my eye-lids.

I simply can't stand Drawn Together. It's supposed to be funny, but is based almost entirely on gross-out and sexual humour with nothing witty whatsoever.

I'm also not a big fan of the overwhelming majority of reality TV shows- the only ones I rcan really stand are the competition ones (ie., America's Next Top Model, American Idol, The Biggest Loser, Project Runway, etc.) Dating competition shows (the likes of Exposed and Next!) are really irritating. Not too fond of anything Tila Tequila.

A lot of the newer cartoons on Nick and Cartoon Netwoek are lame to me, but I realize that they are not aimed at my age group or intellegence level, so I'm not really expecting to like them.

In addition to what Lly said, I hate that new show iCarly with a passion. Nickelodeon's only good show was Drake and Josh, but it got replaced by that unfunny piece of crap.

I hear you, mate. And the worst part is that my sister is obessed with it. She and her friend even made their own webshow called iMarly, which is a rip-off of iCarly (Who would have guessed?), and they forced me to be in it. God, what was I on when I agreed to be in it?

I too miss Drake and Josh. It was the only decent show on Nick.

I agree with Lly. More new shows coming on TV are just getting worse and worse. I was watching TV the other day and what did I see A show about kung fu fighting chickens. And when you think of this in reality you think WHO COULD COME UP WITH THIS CRAP. What happened to good old decent TV. I tell you what happened they're all re-runs now!

I've given up on finding any good shows within the pile of crappy shows. The ones that are at the top of my list (other than those already stated) have to be that Zoey 100 (or whatever number it is), the attempts the writers are trying to make up for their strike in the soaps (they're running in circles and truely getting nowhere), and this one show on CN that has a redicuosly odd name like Floam, or Bubbles. I don't even know the name because I hate leaving the channel on it long enough to figure out what it is.

The solution I came up with: Watch the weather in the morning, the news in the evening, and parts of Adult Swim at night. Works great, and I avoid all shows that are obnoxious.

Most things on Disney. I completely grew out of Disney, a bit sooner than I would've liked. I used to watch Hannah Montana, usually when I was at my cousin's house. Now, we both hate it. =]

I used to like That's So Raven, but now it bores the crap out of me. I can't stand any of the crap on Cartoon Network, for example Chowder, Fried Dynamite, Out of Jimmy's Head (wtf?), and I can barely stand Nickelodeon. Their worst show is the Naked Brothers Band and that mermaid show they give on Teen Nick. Yuck.

Now I watch either the Food Network or the National Geographics Channel. ='(

Ugh, Anything on Cartoon network other then Adult swim or loony toons, Soap operas. and All that garbage on Disney. My little sister sings hanna montana songs ALL DAY LONG! it drives me up a wall.

That H2O show that nicks got going now, every episode seems to revolve around them almost being exposed. Most new cartoons on Cartoon Network. Which is a terrible shame because they used to have alot of fun shows, now its crap.

I avoid disney like the plague.

Nickelodeon has some good shows still running, but most of it is crap and whats not crap are reruns. Nick@nite is awsome though, although I think they have way to many marathons, which is its only real downside.

Ah yes, I forgot Avatar. One of the few good shows remaining in Nick.

Nick used to be great, but now it has degraded into an awful network full of awful shows. It's really quite sad.

The majority of reality TV shows are the worst, followed by a lot of the new sitcoms being made now. They are just not funny yet the TV channels insist on broadcasting them. I'd much rather watch reruns of the sitcoms which are actually make me laugh, ie Seinfeld, Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, etc.

Well not only are the shows getting worse, but they're showing more and more violence in them which I find disgusing. Truthfuly, I grew up watching versions of Barney and friends untill I was 5. That has no violence in it. Now compare this to the newer shows of I don't know, Spongebob. Watching through one episode of that shows different characteristics of violence without giving it a second thought. So not only are majority of those shows just plain out ugly to watch, they're trash for the mind.

That's all I do now if my internet is out and no book; watch reruns of those and That 70's Show.

This new show I saw on Comedy Channel. It's called "Raising the Roof." It's about fat people farting. You heard me, that's all it is. Fat people farting. Ugh.

A large percentage of soap operas are ******* horrible. If you thought Dragonball Z was bad in terms of filler, just watch a soap opera. Seriously. The same thing will go on for a month until some ****ty, ridiculous, uninspired plot twist appears from nowhere.

Every single Post-2000 childrens show. And we wonder why kids become dumber by the half-hour. Bring back Bill Nye for ****'s sakes.

American Dad. It's plagiarizing a show that is already plagiarizing another show.

A lot of Reality shows. No explanation needed.

Big Brother. Can you say "Scripted"?

Every single show on MTV. Again, no explanation needed.

Pretty much anything Disney churns out nowadays, it's gone seriously downhill in recent years.

I also despise the reality model shows, they suck with a passion and all my friends who are female watch them -.-.

Don't really have a problem with soaps but I don't completely follow any, I just leave them on sometimes when I'm bored.

The only shows I hate are Power Rangers, Chowder, Out of Jimmy's head, and almost all of Cartoon Network. Nick still shows good shows, like Spongebob. And if you watch CBS from 12 pm to 4pm, you will find four kinda good soap operas that I'm now just getting into.

I used to like watching the soap opera 'Passions' a few years ago. But what I've noticed is that Latin American soap operas end within a year or two. General Hospital has been around since like the beginning of the 80's. That's waaay too much to watch.

Yeah, but the thing about GH is that after watching it for a week you can pick up on most of the characters, what they're doing, and the story plot in general. They keep it semi moving at a good pace that new people don't get too helplessly lost figuring out the action. In my opinion, GH is better than some of the other random soaps that have been going on for years on end; but then again I'm one strange kid.
