Do Heroes That Wear Red Possess the Power of Fire?

Do hero's wear red? Do hero's posses the power of fire? I see a lot of main characters in animes,cartoons,tv shows, wearing red and a lot with the ability of fire. Is this true? Do you believe this?

no i dont really think so.
Might be true .......but red clothes cant really give you a power.

Red is a visually powerful color. It's higher on the wavelength, so people's eyes get attracted to it. It stands out the most in a painting and stuff. So it's logical that TV show makers would want their hero to wear the color red and stuff.

As for fire, nah. In fact, I don't even know any heroes that have the power of fire, aside from the guy from Fantastic Four. That's not very universal at all.

And I don't know what the relevance of the Power Rangers are, but that's okay. >_>

while red and fire do often coincide, it can mean many other things... such as blood (death) or love.

The truth is that the color red is dynamic, it is a very eye catching color and is possibly the most popular color as there are many people who have red as there favorite color. I did notice that a ton of main character heroes wear red. Here's a brief list I have of some.

--Mario
--Sonic, although his fur is blue, he wears red shoes
--Donkey Kong
--Zero, from MegaMan Zero
--Sora, from Kingdom Hearts
--Kirby, only wears red shoes
--Yoshi, only wears red shoes and a red saddle

Also if you could see the 'Power of Fire' as a way to describe their passion for seeing justice prevail.

But besides the dude from Fantastic Four, I dont know a whole lot of heros with the ability to control fire.

Although Zuko from Avatar the Last Airbender is a Firebender and he is good... sorta.

Zelda-Hime Donkey Kong? what does he wear that is... oh right the tie. i forgot about that.

you know a lot of those heroes have the power of fire and times, mario (fire flower) sonic (fire shield (sonic 3)) Zero ( lots of fire weapons from bosses) Kirby ( fire from baddys)
Yoshi (some guys say he can breath fire at times)...

and Donkey Kong kinda of uses fire in the first game he is in... the oil barrel anyone?

The first hero I can think of that wears red is the Flash, who definitely isn't known for an association with fire. I think I agree with Grass about how red is often used simply because it's a vibrant color that grabs people's attention.

Though if someone does have fire abilities, I guess it would make sense to wear red, and clearly some of them do.

Yea I know, I just did not want to exactly spoil fans who have not seen the episode. Not that it was a big suprise, especially after his illness.
