Re: DR. WHO
Ya, we were obviously talking about totally diffeent things, i thought you meant that Donna never knew she existed, when you obviously meant that she wouldn't recognise her (which is proven because she talks to Rose in the first episode of the series)

Re: DR. WHO
Bad Wolf.
Boo yah. While this series may have started off lacklustre, the last half (Library, Midnight, the upcoming episodes) look like they are comparable to any from season 2.

Davros the Dalek is back next episode, and characters from Torchwood and Sarah Jane Adventures are in it.
Can't wait! |

Re: DR. WHO
Apparently, this episode is the crux of every single series before it, after all, it will be the last full series for some time.
Things to be involved are: Torchwood Mr. Saxon (I don't see how this will work. Russel said he wasn't going to bring the Master back. http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediaselector/c...&nbwm=1&bbwm=1) Bad Wolf Davros (who, incidentally, is a Kaled) The Medusa Cascade The Shadow Proclamation All the people from the spin-off Torchwood All the people from the spin-off the Sarah Jane Smith adventures. The Rebel Daleks Dalek Khan

Also, we're gonna get 3 specials next year, but series 5 is in 2010, because Tenant is going to be in Hamlet or something in 2009 |

Re: DR. WHO
Reference to the with Shakespeare in it!
4, 3, what's the diff? Well, what you can expect from next weeks episode is a character with no belly button, who appears to be around 14/15 years of age and doesn't understand the world like most kids do (kind of like the doctor, but he travels in time so he has an excuse), enter Luke Smith, the boy with no navel, born in a fizzy pop factory. |

Re: DR. WHO
That's that guy from SJA, isn't it? i only saw the special on new years, didn't watch the series. I knew Jack was in, but the whole Torchwood team? Sweet!
When Rose whispered in Donna's ear, it took me a second for it to click and I yelled aloud 'BAD WOLF!' This episode was excellent, except for the beetle thing. I liked how they tied pretty much everything that happened on earth During and after the Runaway bride into it. It was cool. I think I saw the Judoon as well? How do they tie into it? |

Re: DR. WHO
I did watch the Sarah Jane Smith Adventures.
![]() I can't wait for Tenant's demise in the 5th series, as cruel as it may sound. After all, we may finally get to see the conclusion to the Doctor's story, as well as finding out what happened to the Valeyard, because after Tenant will be Doctor no. 11, then after him no, 12, and then the 13th and final, the Valeyard. By Doctor 12, we should got a conclusion to the Omega plotline, the Master plotline (which should contain the Rani), and the Time War plotline, to make room for the Valeyard plotline conclusion, and the end of Doctor Who. EDIT: Hopefully, everything revealed in Lungbarrow will start to gain its significance.

Re: DR. WHO
one word to describe this episode:
When you think about it, that's all it really was. It was an advertisement for the upcoming two-parter, and all it managed to do was introduce a few plot points of the next two-parter throughout the episode (the bit about the stars, and not to mention the whole Rose coming back thing) and in the last minute. Because when you think about it, the only part of the episode you really needed to see was the last minute, because that's when absolutely everything important happened. The whole thing was just an exercise in "WHAT IF?" I'm not saying I didn't enjoy it. I found it to be very entertaining, if a little bit similar to last season's finale. But I couldn't help but keep thinking, throughout the episode, "okay, so why does this matter to the series? are we going to find out now? yet? please?" Also, the whole "two words" thing was so predictable. I was watching it with others, and we all knew it was coming practically as soon as they were whispered without the audience hearing. And the whole thing at the end where he runs out and it's freaking everywhere-- it was hilarious. Unintentionally. Really, really funny. Quote:

Re: DR. WHO
Funny how Donna's solo episode was pretty much the best this series.
As with all the episodes this series, there were bits of the episode I didn't like (why did they have to mention those stupid little fat creatures?), but overall, I quite liked it. Hopefully they will explain who the "fortune teller" actually was. The next episode will either be one of the best of the revival, or the very worst. Hopefully it'll be the former, but you never know...

But it is interesting to note: the actress who played the Fortune Teller is the same actress who played Chantho. Silly Chipo Chung! Constantly demanding presence in the third-to-last episodes of the series!
