Wow, I didn't expect this show to be so good.

Finally we get another Transformers series. But instead of being Japanese made and bad, we get something that is American made and very fresh with a lot of references and inspiration from the G1 series. Very good stuff, it seems like Transformers is going back to its original and awesome roots.

Although the animation style is controversial I don't mind it at all. It looks good in a very different way, kinda like what Beast Wars did (hell Beast Wars has to be my favorite series), very fresh. But putting that aside, it seems to be building up a good old Transformers story that'll just be pure epic, which is a huge plus.

I love transformers. I watched alot when i was younger and have never really grown out of it. Wow. Something to finally match the pure joy of the original transformers movie. And possibly make up for the bad press that the recent movie accumulated. Beast wars was awesome and cybertron wasn't bad but this will be something nice and fresh to the collection. 8)

I never really have liked transformers, to me Mobile Suit Gundam/Gundam Wing is better, but as far as Movies go, the original Transformers movie is the classic and the best. I will check out the Animated series though, I do hope that it is good

Aside of the crappy movie, I'll hope this one will be better for sure.

I don't know, I liked Armada. Afterwards, it went crappy. Armada's Starcream was perhaps the most psychologically developed character in the entire series. I hope they stay true to the original series, but of course give it something new, something to think about, not purely a pitiful 80's attempt to sell toys (sorry), or simple Japanese 3D eye candy, like as of late. I'm way too young to have seen G1, except for a few videos I bought when I was really into it, but I know a lot about it. Basically, transformers was what I obsessed with before I got into Zelda, so I hope they don't screw it up (again).

How can you even compare Mobile Suit Gundam with Transformers? Gundam Wing wasn't even that good in the first place.

Yeah, that's true. Armada Starscream is definitely my favorite incarnation. I also liked the minicons, Tidal Wave, and a huge story arc about Unicron in Armada, it was really good stuff even though a lot of it I didn't like. I didn't like Energon that much, although it was an okay continuation. Cybertron was just garbage, hated it.

Gungam wing is a Bazillion times better then transformers.

Gundam Wing wasn't even good in the first place, very generic. It was very mediocre. Not the worst Gundam series, but still bad.

Transformers is, yes, as a series, better than Gundam Wing ever can be.

However, when you compare both series, they both have good and bad series. Neither is better or worse from each other as a series, as both have a lot of great installments to them.

Hell, you shouldn't even be comparing the series, they're completely different.
