what ever happened to "Lost" ?

You guys have probably heard of the show Lost. It airs on abc and it is this awesome show about people who are stranded on a strange and mysterious island. anyways, since the season finale, which If I remember was more than half a year ago, they havn't aired an episode. are they just taking forever to release new episodes? or did they lose funding or something? is lost, lost?

New episodes should be airing in January. They're stalling the start of the season to avoid the long gap in the middle like last year.

Lost isn't starting until January 2008. They decided to switch it so it follows the same pattern of 24. In other words, air all the episodes week-to-week rather than having many interupptions in the airing. To do this they have delay the production to the new year. It's a win because you don't have the annoying breaks, but you do have to wait longer for each new season.

Because of the writer's strike, the season is only 16 episodes long, and unless an agreement is reached sooner rather than later, that's how long it will remain.
