What classic shows do you miss [back in your childhood]?

I've been thinking again (I'm a 90s cartoon man: what do you expect?) about those old cartoons that were lost back then, especially with people talking about it from time-to-time. I will go through a beautiful time of the 1970s-1990s.
It was the times from children being more familiar with Spider-man to the Animaniacs being unleashed from the Warner Bros. Tower. It was a beautiful era of time where children watched shows that ranged from funny, educational, and most of all, magic. Unfortunately, a great war comensed upon that time, and horrible to all, loser companies such as 4kids.tv took over the world (I would have hoped Brain could have reached world conquest at that time instead), ruling with the release of terrible animes, corny shows, and remakes of television shows that were just too...childish. Even the wounded that survived never were the same to live to fight another day, such as the Power Rangers and Poke'mon. Those drastic measures confounded with them joining the horrid event, leaving the time of peace in the past era to a graveyard.
Well, that's enough of a history lesson coming from this boring bastard. The thing is, even though many shows died back then in the time of our childhood, there's still the DVDs and the fact we could discuss classics in this thread without those 4kids "Nazi" troupe having to squish them.
The point of it was to tell your favourite show(s) and explain why you liked them.
Discuss the stories of the great warriors we had in the time of peace, that watch down at us from cartoon heaven.

um...

What was that creepy show that came on in the late 90's? I think it was called "Don't Look Under The Bed." I loved it.

I believe it's either this or a Goosebumps episode. I loved that series back then.

I miss pretty much all of the early-mid 90's Nick shows. Like: Are You Afraid of the Dark (that show scared me), The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo, The Adventures of Pete and Pete, Salute Your Shorts, Doug, and the Angry Beavers. They should really show them all again.

When I was young I liked Charlie Brown and the peanuts. Snoopy the funniest character some times bullied woodstock or just laying down on top of his dig house

But of course....

Cartoons today have no imagination. Back then, they could mention God, say "gay" in a good way, and actually had lines that today could never get away with (i.e.: "There's Baloney in our slacks"), which brings me to my next point...

Spielburg, you were one of the GODS of Hollywood there...
And OVIOUSLY Batman. who would DARE forget Mark Hamill's performance as the Joker, especially his laugh:

I'm with you there, mate. Old cartoons, like Looney Toons, Tom and Jerry, and the classic Disney Cartoons (Which puts the crap Disney spews out today to shame) are the best! They had some of the most violent but not gory slapstick gags ever. But now, they are in Cartoon Heaven, replaced by the crappiest shows imagineable. Oh, how I long to hear the phrase "Ehhh... (munch munch munch) What's up doc?"

Yeah, in a few years, kids won't even know who bugs bunny and the loony toons are! (I'm sure there are some who don't already)

Problem is, the older looney toons have A LOT of racial stereotypes and politically incorrect things, like their interpretations of asian people, and native americans.

I miss Fraggle Rock and Lamb Chop's Play Along.

Yes, I heard more children watch cartoons such s "Bratz" than they did on "Spider-man" FOR SHAME!!!
And THAT'S why they were so good: They had balls to say things like that and didn't get off air because the rating programs don't ban things such as Bugs Bunny "kissing" guys (which is classic!). Heck, I watched Animaniacs today at my friend's, and LAL'D over the "Finger Prince" joke. Ooooh, good times.
Now? corny, crappy humor. Change is a TERRIBLE tihing to cartoons.

Rugrats. God, I loved them.

And Scooby Doo. But Scooby's still around, because he's win. I used to have like a zillion pairs of Scooby pajamas...and every night I sat down at the same time to watch Scooby, in my pajamas, because it was the coolest thing ever. I actually remember crying once cause it was canceled one night for something more important. I was devastated. :[
