Looking back, that show got away with so much crap back then that it is almost unbelieveable. What a great show.

Gotta say one of my favorite cartoons growing up was Eek! the Cat, from Fox's classic cartoon lineup. I just recently rediscovered some of the old episodes on Youtube, and all the pop culture references and movie spoofs (everything from Apocalypse Now to Jaws to The X-Files) just added so much appeal to the show since I watched it when I was a kid. Also, Mad Jack the Pirate was so awesome while it lasted.

"Nothing can stop me now, not even that fat purple cat!"

God, I miss the 90's.

Re: What classic shows do you miss [back in your childhood]?

Spongebob Squarepants: I know it still comes on but the show has just lost somthing

Rocko's Modern Life: THis show was always entertaining because of all the adult jokes cleverly hidden

All the Looney Toons: Bugs, Sylvester, Tweety, Pork Pig, all of them

Disney Shows: Chip N' Dale, Ducktales Darkwing Duck, can't think of any others off the top oh my head.

Things labeled as "For Kids" are nothing like what it used to be. The last "Kids Movie" I actually enjoyed (and enjoyed very much) was Finding Nemo. Now kid's movies are just too... nice. What happened to Playboy being mentioned in pretty much every kid's movie?

What about The Incredibles? D:

Although Cars did suck like a V8 Hoover vacuum cleaner.

I almost forgot about Bump in the Night! Does anybody remember this show? It was on ABC's Saturday Morning lineup back in 1994 I think, and animated entirely with claymation. It was awesome beyond words. Especially Squishington.

They really don't make 'em like they used to.

It's really depressing to see how much cartoons in general have fallen since back then... And now kids are growing up on this crap.

Don't forget Yosemite Sam. Man, he was one of my favorites:

Pretty much everything Pixar is great, and I still love it. The Incredibles is underrated. Whereas Disney just keeps spitting out crap and unnecessary sequels to classics.

I really loved Freakazoid when I was little. I watched a few episodes on youtube a while back, and you forget how good those shows were after such a long time.

Pretty much every show listed on this thread...

Especially the good nick shows.

Surprised no one has said

Oh Yeah Cartoons
or
KaBlam

The good disney movies.

Especially the one about the paper boy (I just remember the scene where he beat the old crazy military guy) Anyone know what that one is called?
