Not really, it only says that one show went on longer then the other. I wasn't suggesting that they were the same show, but, from what I know of it, they're stylistically comparable.

I respect shows that only go on as long as they need to and don't continue purely because its profitable to do so. The 8 hours of entertainment found in the British version was all top quality and ended fantastically. There being so many more episodes in the US version is actually grounds for worry for me. TV shows get stale.

They are stylistically comparable, but they are also stylistically comparable with Christopher Guest movies or a show like Modern Family. I thought you were looking for at how they were comparable on a more specific level.

I have only seen like 5 episodes.

I love this show.

i do love the american office. i reckon it's better than the original, even so i don't see how there has come to be 6 series of the american one & only two of the british. dayyyym.
