Hey everyone! I'm giving you all a heads up that we're reaching that time of the year again. Yes, it's time for the Midsummer Awards! A month of fun as we think of new awards, nominate our fellow ZUers, vote, and hand out some sweet awards to all you beautiful people.
They won't be starting for another two weeks, but you're all getting a nice warning ahead of time to brace yourselves. The schedule is as follows:
June 1st - June 8th: The awards will begin with the Award Suggestions thread. You may suggest new awards to add, and you can suggest that any current awards be gotten rid of. June 8th & June 9th: I and my fellow staff members will make our final decision in regards to the removal of awards and the addition of new awards. June 10th - June 18th: The nomination threads will open up. June 18th - June 26th: Nominations close and voting will commence.
Once voting ends, we will do our best to get the results back as soon as possible. At the latest they will be announced on June 30th.

Right, so, we've gotten rid of the Competitions and Collaborations Board in the Creativity Corner mostly due to its inactivity. I can bring it back no problem, though, if there are any cross-over events people wanna run with any of our main C.Corner boards. So, if you wanna do something like that, contact me or any C.Corner mod (Buu/Caleb/Strawberry), let them know what you wanna do and we'll work something out.
Stuff that used to be in the Collab Board and where they will be located now:
-The Competition Archive has been moved to the Graphics Design board as it's the only board right now in that section that is running competitions.
-Speaking of competitions or any future competitions; all comps will be held in their own boards, so for example the Signature of the Week will be found in the Graphic Design board.
-We're still hosting Creator of the Moment and highlighting artists/writers, but now the thread will be moved from board to board depending who is being highlighted, so if it's a writer who we're celebrating, the CotM thread will be moved to the Writing Board etc etc,
The Graphic Design forum has also had two prefixes added to cater to these changes: [Sign up] and [Voting] since Sig of the Week will now be hosted there. If any other board starts up competitions, I'll add those prefixes to those boards, too.

The Eval Forum has come and gone, and on behalf of the mod team I just wanna say thank you to everyone who took the time to participate this season. We got some good stuff out of it and we're muchly appreciative of your effort. Remember you can always send a PM to me, or any other admin, with general feedback or questions regarding the mod team, and we'll always be more than happy to reply/explain.
Right so over in the General Gaming Forum, our good friend GKANG has temporarily stepped down and in his place we've modded the lovely mrfohlin. So, congrats, 'fohlin, and good luck! I look forward to working with you around the community (:
Also, on May 1st I'm gonna reopen the Moderator Evaluation Forum over in the Sitely section, and I will be closing it on May 7th. If you've the time, we'd greatly appreciate it if you'd give us feedback on how we are doing, or how we can make your forum experience a better one!
