Boxee Help... =[

okay, I am new to Boxee and I love the look and feel of it. I have downloaded and installed it to my desktop no problem. My desktop is running Windows XP service pack 3 (I think it's service pack 3) Anyways, I tried installing it onto my laptop which is running Windows Vista and every time I open up the installer, it gives me this message in a box titled "Boxee Setup".

Error opening file for writing:

C:\Program Files\Boxee\BOXEE.exe

Click Abort to stop the installation,
Retry to try again, or
Ignore to skip this file.


I thought that it was just that one file but when I click on ignore, it pretty much seems to give me this message for every file in the installer. I've tried running it as an administrator. I've also ran the installer in compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 2) and I still have no luck with it. If someone could point me into the right direction with this or maybe point me to a thread that was already made that has the answer to this, I will be much obliged.


[EDIT] I have to also add that I've been to the Boxee forums and asked for help. I copied and pasted this whole post from their website because I didn't feel like typing it again. Anyways, my post on the Boxee thread has gotten zero replies. [/EDIT]

Is it set to 'read only'?

Are you using an Administrator account on the Vista machine?

Okay, it's working now. It turns out that it wasn't set to read only. XD Thanks Fratey for telling me about that. =]
