DS Wi-Fi Connection Problem.
Right, this problem I have...
I have a Wii which is able to connect to my Wireless Router and access Wi-Fi with no questions asked.. However, I try with my DS, and I have problems. I'm setting up a connection on Pokémon Platinum, and I used the option "Search for an Access Point". However, I get a message saying "The access points security settings are not supported by the Nintendo DS". I've looked everywhere for a solution, and found absoloutly nothing. I'm situated in the U.K. and am using a Netgear WGR614 v.9 Router. Does anybody have a solution? I'd be forever grateful. Thanks ![]()

Re: DS Wi-Fi Connection Problem.
Change your router security from WPA to WEP.

Re: DS Wi-Fi Connection Problem.
How would I go about that though?
I've tried accessing my Router Settings, however the default UN and PW have been changed and I can't remember them - is there any other way to access the details without resetting the Router? - Thanks

Re: DS Wi-Fi Connection Problem.
^not sure you can do that if you don't have the PW.
I had a connection problem with my DS. Still haven't figured out the problem. When I connect by myself it's fine. As soon as I try to connect with friends though it DCs. I got rid of my router firewall and still am having the same problems. Mine's a Belkin model.

Re: DS Wi-Fi Connection Problem.
You need to reset it if you don't know the password. If you're using WPA security on your network right now, then there's no way around that.
