Your Mp3/iPod

Theres one about phones, so why not one about music players? what do you have? iPod,Zune,mp3 player etc. what color? how many GB? what songs are on it?

I have a 1GB white Samsung MP3 player and a 1GB blue iPod shuffle. My Samsung has all of my real songs on it. Led Zeppelin,Pink Floyd,The Who, KISS, Michael Jackson, etc.

My shuffle is all Zelda music! it has like 200 zelda songs on it! does anyone else have zelda songs on theyer iPod/MP3 players?

Oh and im getting a purple 16GB! iPod Nano for christmas!

I have a 4gb iPod nano, with mostly Nirvana songs and James Hendrix. Although I do have the song of storms on there, and the music on the second death note DVD opening.

Screw iPods, and any other devices that force you to use their respective programs to add music to your player.

Sansa? Well, the firmware is junk (and I've already had it create bizarre glitch files all over itself), but it's easy drag-and-drop, and it hasn't stopped working on me yet.

I haven't installed Rockbox on it because it's my only player and I don't want to chance bricking it.

Re: Your Mp3/iPod

I have a 30 GB Ipod Video. It's about 3-4 years old now, so it's starting to not work properly. It's battery runs out in about an hour, and it makes wierd sounds when i'm changing songs...

I'm think of getting the new Ipod videos, only 80 GB, or a 32 GB Ipod Touch. I'll probably go with the Video becuause it's closer to what i'm used to.

Re: Your Mp3/iPod

My PSP is the only MP3 player I need. I only have a two gig memory stick for it, but I hardly keep as many songs on it as other people, only about twenty that I listen to repeatedly.

Incidentally, how's it work for something like that?
I plan to get a PSP in the future, and may use it as a backup music player if need be.

I use a Creative Zen Mosaic. Very small; smaller than the iPod, and I think it's 8GB and holds tv shows, videos, and movies along with songs.

Re: Your Mp3/iPod

I use a 16 gb iPhone 3G.

Also, the official iPod thread is the music thread of this section. It's not only for iPods however, people post about what ever music player they have, iPod is just the "kleenx" of music players.

Well, you just connect the PSP to the computer using a mini USB cord (I got mine with my case. For a while, I used my dad’s). It pops up as a separate drive. Just open it up, go to the PSP folder, and create a “MUSIC” folder. From there, just move all the music you want into that folder.

8 Gigabyte iPod Nano (Chromatic). I've only got about 3 gigs filled up though, so all is cool for now.

Ha ha, I meant does it work well for something like playing music?
Bad phrasing on my part.

Rockbox is lightyears ahead of the factory firmware.

Re: Your Mp3/iPod

I have a 1gb ipod shuffle for use when running (No HD means it can't skip) and I have a60gb video I bought of a friend for 30 bucks. Skipped HD from running. However I found a place that can fix it for 20 bucks. I just last 20 bucks to blow on fixing it. (All my money goes to important things, like airsoft, guns and gaming).

Oh I have it filled with my Running playlist. All fast paced heavy metal songs that I can match a solid running pace to. It's silver.

It works extremely well, which continues to make me wonder why you people are willing to spend $300+ for your iPod Touches 'n' stuff.
