I use Vista Ultimate on my desktop computer at home, XP on my laptop at home and Vista Business at work.

Also, are the specs for the cheapest macbook pro good enough to run both OS's?

The cheapest macbook right now can run both os. Boot Camp lets you partition the hard drive to install windows, and you choose what system to boot up in. I would suggest having at least a 250 GB hard drive before using boot camp though.

Why? Will it be slow if i only have 160? And what's the difference between boot camp and emulators?

No, it will just limit the amount of hard drive space that you will have. I wouldn't use an emulator if I were you. If I was running Mac OS, I would probably install XP in boot camp. If your going to be playing games and using boot camp, get a bigger hard drive.

Just wondering, how tech savy are you? Would you say that you could change and set up a new OS install on a computer?

In work, my O/S is Windows XP w/t SP3. Its a pretty good O/S, no serious problems with it at all.

At home, i am using Windows Vista Home Premium 32bt w/t SP1. It's a good O/S, ok it has its faults but if you look past them its a good O/S

Windows XP

I don't think I want Vista from what I hear about it.

The problem for me with emulators is playing games.
Mac's GFX card hasn't been updated to be compatible correctly with them, therefore you just get a black or messed up screen.
Apparently, my uncle can get it to work, but he doesn't have the most current model of iMac that I use.

Then google "OS x86." Its psuedo legal software, letting you put mac os on a pc with a x86 architecture processor. I just saved you a 1000 dollars.

Meaning, can I make it so that if I want I can boot from windows, or sometimes I can just use parallels?

I use any kind of OS Like; Windows XP, Windows Vista, Mac OS X, Ubuntu, Lunix and more that I can't remember, yes.

I love Mac OS. I hate apple's price gouging and their inability to make a product that is within the average consumer's price range.
