If your friend has a computer science degree and can't actually notice the "Garbage" rating Empire Earth has, then I really doubt his competence with computers.

It was just Empire Earth II, some other games, but Empire Earth II was the big one. And in his defense he doesn't have the time to check out all this **** on the net, but yea, he should have looked it up first.

Can't say that I've ever stumble across one. I talked to him the other day, and hes got his Linux system working pretty good now, the only incompatibility thing his run into so far is Empire Earth II

Window's Vista. I don't think it's as bad as people think.

I'm sticking with XP until 7 has more proof of being a good stable OS--it looks promising.
I'm also running Ubuntu v9.04 on a second partition.

Vista. I had no choice, I tell you. Besides, I have not encountered any problems so far. *Knock on wood*

I use Vista, though I've used some Linux in the past. I couldn't manage to get it installed on my main hard drive here, though. If I get a new one, I'll definitely be putting it back on. I have a lot of upgrading to do for my PC.

Windows Exp is by far the best. Vista has too many problems.

...Also, I'm still using XP, and I still hate Macs.

On my own computer like I am using now, I have Mac OS X. On our family computer though, we have Windows Vista.
