thanks for the help
I have adopted both Shinobi TZ and twilight_princess98.
Your going to need a lot more than that. You need a motherboard, a processor and a fan to cool it, RAM, a hard drive, a CD/DVD ROM drive, a video card, a power supply, and a case to put it all in. Don't forget a monitor, keyboard and mouse, and an operating system.
You also need spacers, drive cables, power cables, and a cooling system for your tower.
Before you even go out to buy all of this, you need to make sure that all of your components are compatible with each other and with your operating system.
You have to be careful of static electricity when building your computer. It's rare, but if you have carpet flooring, or are wearing wool, you could build up a static charge, and short your expensive components when you touch them. Try to build it on tile, or wood, and don't wear wool.
Most components are delicate, so be careful. Don't drop any screws, and get a flashlight.
This guide should help you. Google "how to build a computer" if you want to find more in-depth guides.
And if you are getting Nvidia graphics it would be good to get Intel processors =D
I'm not sure if you can buy them for custom computers or not.
Er, not really.
Both nVidia and ATi work just fine with Intel and AMD CPUs.
Right now ATi has the better mid-and-high end cards though, so you'll probably want to go with one of theirs.
Also, if you want to be really cutting edge, get an Intel i7 CPU (and compatible motherboard, of course), they're more expensive than Core 2 Duos, and only work with DDR3 memory, but they're easily the best CPUs on the market right now from what I've heard.
"But I don't want to go among mad people." "Oh, you can't help that. We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" "You must be, or you wouldn't have come here."
