Application Error

Anyone have a clue as to what the problem here is? Notice one says "read" and the other "written."

Also, I'm not sure how relevant this is, but the keyboard shortcuts ctrl+z/x/c/v aren't working. I have to cut/copy/paste manually. This only seems to happen using the IE browser though; and doesn't apply to the address bar or the search bar.

I believe it's a crash. Try reporting it at a crash site to see if there's a fix.

I'd highly recommend just deleting and removing the programs and then reinstalling them and updating to the latest version.

I could tell you what's going on there, but it's just a bunch of technobabble, really. Especially since I couldn't tell you why. Most likely Windows is doing something wrong, like moving the apps' memory and not telling them. This happens even if you restart?

Like I said, try and completely remove all things associate with it so that you can get a fresh start and windows can find everything. Like Scott said, it's all being misread, or trying to read things that are moved, or not there.
Try restarting from a fresh start with the new app.

Now that I think about it, the IE error suggests that your computer doesn't have enough free memory. ("Memory" being RAM.) The reason is it's trying to write to location 0x0, which means that it doesn't have a location for whatever that stuff is, and assuming the program is written correctly (and given it works for everyone else, albeit not by standards), that means Windows didn't give it the RAM it needs.

So then, as far as I know, I'd suggest to clean up your harddrive, delete temp files, and what not. Free up some Windows Virtual Memory and even possibly upgrade your RAM which never hurts. I just got a gateway with 4GB of RAM, it's gorgeous.

When does it happen? Are you running a lot of programs at once? If not, then there's no reason to believe it appropriate to upgrade ram.

Did you install anything lately, does it only happen when you visit a certain site/press a certain button?

Or does it just happen everytime you run it?

Typically it happens when I'm on this site: XKF • Index page

Obviously it doesn't happen whenever I run it or I wouldn't be on the internet now. And I haven't installed anything lately.
