Text-to-Image for Safari?

I found this awesome add on for FireFox, and was wondering if there was something of the sort for Safari. "Why?" You might ask, and the reason is, my computer... dislikes... FireFox

If you don't understand, all I want, is to see an image without following the link.

When you see an image you want in Safari but don't want to follow the link (provided it's not a flash image) all you have to do is right click and select "open image in new window" or "save image to desktop". Or just click and drag the thing out into your desktop.

If it's a flash ad or otherwise something you can't do the above action on, go to Grab and make a screen shot.

Or is what you're asking far more complicated?

It's not that I don't want to follow a link, I just want everything to happen in one window/tab.

txt2img (actual name) creates a thumbnail, and when you move your cursor over it makes the image larger/actual size.

I'm a person constantly looking for shortcuts, and I hate it when I open the link in a new window/tab and it's not even what I was looking for.

So yes, it's more complicated. I know two people who could create this for Safari, but one I don't know well enough to ask, and the other doesn't have time to waste on something that isn't "required". He's my uncle and does programming for IBM. Very busy man.
