List your PC specs

I looked around and failed to find any threads like this so I decided to create one myself. Anyway, just list your specifications and discuss if you want. Here are mine, I built it myself:

Video Card - EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 640 MB
CPU - AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ Windsor 3.0GHZ
PSU - Antec True Power Trio 650 watt
Case - Cooler Master Centurion
RAM - 2 GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2 800 dual channel
HDD - Western Digital 250 GB 3.0 SATA
Other - Sony DVD drive

Motherboard - Gigabyte DS3r p35
Video Card - EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 640 MB
CPU - Core 2 Duo e6400@ 3.6GHz
PSU - Enermax Liberty 400AWT
Case - Lian Li PC v1000 II+
RAM - 2GB DDR2-533 3-3-3 Team Group Xtreem; 2GB DDR2-667 4-4-4 Patriot LLK @ DDR2-900 4-4-4
HDD - RAID 0 - 2* Seagate 7200.11 320GB
Other - Liteon DVD burner; thermalright ultima 90 CPU cooler

i had the RAM at 4-4-3 for a while and it was stable but p35 and 965 boards tend to be slower with it at tRP 3, same goes for CAS and tRCD. It's a flaw I'm willing to live with though. Good kits overall, they do DDR2-800 3-3-3 at relatively low volts. and do 1200 5-5-5 at only 2.2V

That's a pretty nice rig, better than mine I'd say. :]
I don't really know much about RAM timings, I don't really mess with them. With my luck I'd screw something up. lol

I sent it in to support, and they are checking it soon. I hope it wasn't me that broke it..
It was my first PC I build myself.

Figured I might as well post some pictures... just took them right now. Thinking about doing some modding(dremel in a few holes for cable management) etc. to clean it up a bit but not enough time at the moment.

admittedly I only have one drive in there right now the other two are on order and my dad gets the current drive.

I've got a ****ty camera but ehh gets the job done.

as for timings, chances are at the 2.2V your RAM is rated at it'd do 4-3-3. it's got micron chips in it and for the time being those are the best.

also if a part is broken, RMA the sucker.

I doubt it was you that broke it. I've heard countless stories of people getting bad parts in and having to RMA them. You probably just got unlucky.

next few things on my list are fan over RAM and 2.4V and swapped northbridge heatsink. NB heatsink on there now is very hot to the touch, to the point where I'd burn myself after an extensive period of time. RAM at 2.1V is only to the touch though and wouldn't burn me.

I have heating issues too, but with my CPU. The temperature shoots past the maximum while gaming, and comes very close to it while idling. I've tried fixing it, but I can't seem to solve the problem. So far my PC seems pretty stable, so maybe it's just a false reading.

what heatsink are you using? the athlons run pretty toasty, they put out about as much heat as the old prescotts did, the k8 architecture is really stressed at this point and capacitance seems to take a **** as temps and voltages rise.

Meh, I'm just using the stock HSF.
I actually had a problem with getting it to fit properly, I had to improvise. Maybe that's why I get high temps. I had to unscrew the clip on the motherboard, attach the HSF to it, then screw the clip and HSF back onto the motherboard and CPU. X_x;

faster than mine...

FYI the p35 chipset doesn't support quad channel memory, only dual, so your system is dual. if you want quad channel look into an Intel 5400 based system. down side is those only work with FBDIM-DDR2 and real world memoryperformance is notably lower due to increased latency at the module level and lesser clocking.

FYI that e8500 begs for 400FSB.

Dam I thought someone would notice. I didn't realize until I had built the system that it didn't support Quad channel memory. I mainly had AMD machines in the past so I don't know a lot about Intel boards. I should have done better research. Oh well lesson learned I guess.

well basically no 1p systems support tri channel memory. closest thing is nehalem and that's unreleased for another 2 quarters. don't feel bad though the system bus intel side is so narrow it basiclly would be pointless for quad channel memory anyway and would just increase the cost of motherboards a lot since there'd need to be more traces for the RAM

Wow I nearly have the crapist computer here.

AMD Athlon 3800+ X2
ASUS M2N-E SLI
G.Skill 2Gb DDRII 667
MSI Radeon X1950Pro
CoolerMaster 600w

I built it about 15 months ago, still plays Call of Duty at 1280x1024 but struggles with Crysis at that resolution. Does everything else I need. Was thinking about upgrading to a 8800GT or 9600GT but I don't really see the need at the moment.

clock it higher, pretty much everything AM2 side clocks reasonably well. there's nothing out there that really needs more than a 3Ghz Athlon, and most x2 2800+ get 3.0Ghz on stock volts.

Ok its not as great but here it is

Type of PC - Gateway E-295C (also known as a C-140)
Proc: Centrino Core 2 Duo at 2.0
Ram: 2 Gigs
Graphics: Moble Intel 965 Express chipset family 340 mb
sound: crappy laptop speakers
Hard drive 70 gigs (want to upgrade this)

Yes, it sucks compared to what you all have. However here is some the cool stuff
14.1 tablet screen
Blue tooth enable.
Windows XP tablet edition (want to upgrade to vista, and think this computer can handle it)

Price I paid for it. Nothing (got it in a scholarship, however if I drop out of college I have to get it back, but if I don't I get to keep it)

I bet I have one of the slowest computers here, but I like it.

Plus, I'm assuming "PC" also includes Macs?

In any case:
1.33 GHz IBM PowerPC G4 Processor
40 GB HDD
512 MB RAM
Mac OS X 10.5

I used to have an older HP tower with XP, but it died a year or two ago.

Yeah I've tried multiple times to overclock my CPU, but I can't get it stable. I think it might be the motherboard. Certainly isn't the best I've used.

CPU either becomes unstable or it won't post. I think I've got a pretty good knowledge of overclocking since I helped out a mate overclock his Core Duo E6550 and it's solid as a rock at 3.2Ghz. Even runs cool.
