Problem upgrading Mac OS X...
Currently, I have Mac OS X 10.2.4, but I am trying to upgrade to 10.2.8 so that I can install Creative Suite 2 on the mac. But there is a smallproblem...
While installing, I have to choose where to install it. It tells me that my hard drive has 33.6GB of memory free. It says that the upgrade requires 16.2MB. It also says, "You cannot install this software on this disk. This volume does not meet the requirements for this update."
I also tried to install 10.2.6 thinking I had to logically work my way up there, and hoping it would work out, but the same issue came up. It told me the volume didn't pass judgement.
I don't know if this matters, but I'll share it anyway. I downloaded the software on to my junk drive and moved it to my mac since I currentl don't have internet access on the mac.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
