Photoshop

I figured this was the right place to put it...

So I have a copy of photoshop CS on my computer, and everytime I try to open it, a window pops up saying that I have to activate it. So on it there's a "next" button and when you click it it goes through the activating process, but it then sais "activation denied."

So now the program is installed and evrything, but it's not working. Any suggestions on what might help?

Re: Photoshop

Here's a question for you:

Did you buy Photoshop? Or Download it?

People actually pay for the program?

Let me rephrase that ... non professionals actually pay for the program?

Amoriale ... If you downloaded it, most likely you have to use telephone activation, and instructions should be included with it. If not, I can't help with that.

If I had a couple of thousand lying around, I'd buy Adobe Creative Suite CS3. Best damn bundle of programs known to man.

But since the price is so unrealistic, no.
Although one of my mates got around it.
He brought Adobe Photoshop 6 for like $30 and merely brought CS2 upgrade for about $200. Cheapest legal way to get it.

Re: Photoshop

btw for any other people who would like photoshop but don't want to pay for it and don't want to break the law, there is an opensource photoshop free to download at sourceforge.net
it's perfectly legal and works well, it can do the same as photoshop except for something with CMYK colours (can't remember what it is exactly)

i found this out a week ago, but forgot all about it, so this wasn't what i was refering to in my last post.
