New XBOX!!!!

There suposidly is a new xbox called:The XBOX 360 Elite. don't know when it's released, but, it's gonna be awsome!!!!!!!!

Uhh. . . I think everybody knows about this. It's coming out April something BTW. Yeah it's going to be a good improvement, but I'm not buying it or the Harddrive upgrade, I already have a Premium Xbox 360. A little pricey for me right now.

Souds interesting, where did you hear/read this?

It's sweet, it's all black. I plan to buy one considering the fact I don't have a .360 yet. Can't wait to get one either.

It's going to be a total waste of time and money. Noone's really interested on X-box nowadays. Everyone's focusing on Playstation3 and NintendoWii. The only thing good X-box really has right now is Halo.

I'll have to disagree with you on that. Id have to say many people prefer the 360 and the wii. Xbox happens to have a great online service, and the price tag isnt as high as the ps3's. The new elite system won;t have the super high price tag the ps3 has.

True, but if you check the reatings right now X-box is on the ground and the Wii is sky-high. PS3 is somwhere in the middle. The X-box is just going to throw out the Elite as a "second try" so it can get fans exited thus getting them a little bit more of money but in terms of popularity is going to stay the same. X-box used to be good but not anymore. It barely has any original games and the ones it has taken away are resulting to be bad after it's platform shift. Like for example we have Rareware a company wich used to work strictly with Nintendo and had great success. (Donkey Kong, Perfect Dark) after switching to Microsoft they released Perfect Dark Zero it got bad ratings all over while on the other hand the Perfect Dark for The N64 console remained one of the greatest games. The only thing I like on the X-Box is Halo other than that I consider it the loser on ConsoleWars.

Seriously, what's so special about the Elite? The only upside to it is a bigger HDD for about the same price as a normal. I'll just buy a black faceplate and another Harddrive.

That is not true at all. Many people out there are interested in Xbox because of all the avaliable games compared to PS3 and Wii. Not to mention that almost all of PC games will be ported to 360, saving gamers the time, money, and effort from having to upgrade their video cards or whatnot.

360 has many other titles coming out and already out. Mass Effect is one of them. It isn't just Halo, which in my opinion, is overrated and overly-hyped. Ratings are useless in the gaming realm. They are all biased to an extent and they don't include all of the stores and gamers around the world.

Well I think it's a good idea, MS is hitting right back at Sony. One of the reasons why Sony could brag so much over the 360 was full '1080p' support. Something now the Elite has. It might of been nice if they included the HD-DVD drive inside, but I suppose if it's never going to get used for games, no downer.

The Xbox 360 is still winning, it has most sales and did very well right next to the Wii Christmas last year. The 360 is very easily holding it's own and has a excellent game library. The PS3 is also doing well, they lacked the numbers in the American launch but everything is going fairy well now. In fact the PS3 has sold more than the 360 at it's launch.

When you really look at it all the consoles are doing well. Expect Sony is not making any money yet. So Sony is losing.

Assuming 360 can handle it with tri-cores, it might. Then again, most likely not, since Crysis will be using DirectX 10. There is, however, a slim chance that they will tone down the quality of Crysis enough to make a port to 360.
