Computer Troubles...
Something happened to my computer and now it won't boot Windows! I have a guess as to what it is, but the only other OS I have is the Xebian distribution of Linux. Is there any way to view the files in my F drive in Xebian?

I... hehe, well I'm not entirely sure. I get a disk read error when it tries to load Windows, and I remember seeing some file that wasn't supposed to be there in my F drive. I think maybe if I delete it... I dunno, I'm just kind of panicky right now.
I'm posting these from my mac, which is nowhere near capable of running my favorite online game. This thing can't even run IE and iTunes without crashing. So um... I'm not really used to linux. All I'm really asking right now is how to view the files on my drive in Xebian. If that doesn't work, well... I'll post it.

yes, there is, it varies from linux OS, to OS on hwo to do it, but you need to mount that partition volume and you will be able to read from it, you won't be able to write to it though.

Well as it turns out, something wrecked the partition. The Windows installation disk wouldn't work. The Linux one, however, did, so after installing Linux, I could reinstall Windows. Of course, I have nothing left on my C drive, but all that was on that drive in the first place was Windows!
So since I have now fixed that problem (within a day of it happening), someone can close this topic.
