HELP My game won't save!!!

I got FF7 not long ago, and I put it in my PS2. It works just fine, except that whenever I try to save it tells me that there isn't a memory card inserted, even though there is. The mem card still saves my other games and I've only filled a quarter of it, so can anyone help me understand what's going on?

I'm guessing you are using a PS2 memory card there.

You cannot save any PSone games onto a PS2 memory card.

Exactly. You need to go by a PS memory card (the gray one) and use that. It should work fine then.
