Help with Xbox360

Okay, I have a big problem with my Xbox360. I've had it since Dec., and nothing has ever gone wrong before. But the past few weeks, it's been sitting on the shelf, unused. So, today I decide to play, but I turn it on, pop in Oblivion, and here's the problem: it says "reading" for a few minutes and then says "open tray." It doesn't load it.
So, naturally, I pop in GRAW to see if it works... Same problem!! I've tried all my games, and none of them work! I don't think it's the disks, because they're all perfectly clean.

Now, i don't want any replies saying "OmFG EhT Xbux360 Suxxorzc!!!11", because that's pure BS. But that's a different story for another time.

Anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?

maybe the laser is dirty, try blowing gently in the tray, if that doesnt work, id say take it to the shop, dont try to open it up yourself.
oh and xbox doesnt suxxors there, happy? XD

If the problem still exists try getting it to a shop to get it fixed...
If this can’t be fixed, you have a warranty, don’t you?

But yes it is most probably a fault in the laser. If you have warranty go for that. It is quite annoying if you fix it and the problem comes back after the warranty expires. I had that with my GC.

Even if your warrenty is expired, you can still send it in to be fixed for a small, nominal fee. Just call their costomer service. If you still have all of the books, it's in one (or all, I'm not sure) of them. I had a problem with mine a while back and had to send it in. It'll probably take two weeks tops for you to get the box to send it in, send it off, and get it back.

The thing was that repairing it was actually as expensive as buying a new one. So I did that instead. A nice RE4 package which is really cool
