(WMA, Movie File, etc) to ->(MPEG) Converter

Ok, i have iTunes and i like it al lot better than WMP(windows media player). It's just nicer and evrything, but one problem is it only plays certain types of videos....so....i was wondering if anybody knows of any type of converter that will convert things to a MPEG format or any other format that iTunes can use b/c iTunes won't play my other video files.

Another reason i need this is b/c my computer freezes up everytime I try to watch a video in WMP, not in iTunes or anything else though, only WMP, any solutions or help on this would be much appreciated.

Ok, i have downloaded that program, but i'm confused on how to use it, have you ever used it?

Just download VLC media player, it plays everything. Seriously, google it.

Not really. None of my h264 video files will play on VLC.

That's all I've ever needed. With that you'll be able to play anything.
