Winzip ROM Help needed!

Ok then. Anyone who knows how to open up a ROM with Winzip, please leave instructions here. I'm trying out metal slug, to see if it's any good. but i've no idea how to open it wih Winzip.

it is a .zip file, right? And you DO have the proper emulator downloaded right? And you have tried to extract it, right?

yes i have a copy of the MAME 32 Emulator. i just need to know how to Unzip the file. and it may be a good idea to tell me how to Unzip MAME 32 aswell. sorry!

oh, ok. To unzip a file right click on it and hit extract, then select the path for the extracted contents to take.

Just be sure you're opening the rom with the emulator. That's also on the right click menu, "open with..."

*Groans* for the game, it's saying several files are "NOT FOUND". any suggestions?

for mine, I have my main emulator and my rom both unzipped in the same folder, and then I open the rom with the emulator. I'm not sure about the missing files thing. Make sure to read the read me and maybe go to the website for troubleshooting.

Make sure that the rom isn't just defective, also.
